Making Friends
The eleventh annual PAWS Blessing of the Animals held on a recent morning in Peoria, Ill. is a service for all living creatures. Robynn McGann of West Peoria and her Maltese Chanel became acquainted with Spunky, a male Peking duck who has been cared for by Marge Bjorklund of Trivoli for the past year and a half after he was beaten and abandoned by his previous owner.
