Hummingbirds and Canna Plants
A hummingbird flutters next to the flowers of a Canna plant in the Bartonville, Ill., backyard of Kendall and Rob Stecken. The Stecken's Canna plants have reached a height of nearly 12 feet, more than double the height of the plants the previous year, a fact that they attribute to their location next to the pen of their German Shepherds Rouser and Shiloh.
